| Reed Valve Class Action Lawsuit Mercedes-Benz USA has entered into a tentative settlement of a class action lawsuit with all current and previous owners / lessees of 2001 to 2006 S Class and CL Class vehicles. The concern was a water drain's reed valve clogging with debris and causing water to enter into the passenger compartment.
The final court approval is expected May 17, 2010. Owners and previous owners / lessees (known to Mercedes-Benz USA) were sent a letter February 26, 2010 outlining the proposed settlement.
As many clients never update Mercedes-Benz USA's ownership information you may have not received a letter concerning the proposed settlement from Mercedes-Benz USA even though you do currently or
previously owned / leased an 2001 - 2006 S Class or CL Class vehicle.
If you are a current or previous owner / lessee of a 2001 to 2006 S Class or CL Class, this website will provide you with all the the information available.
